RARET - A place in the History

Video production

In Glória do Ribatejo, Portugal, 196 hectares are now abandoned on land that was once used as one of the largest radio stations for Radio Europa Livre. Created by the Americans during the Cold War, RARET (RAdio RETransmição) relayed anti-communist messages, broadcast many news, programs and even music, which were banned in Eastern Europe and, in this way, placed the Glória do Ribatejo at the center of the war. RARET is fondly remembered by all those who benefited from it. The nostalgia felt by their memory of RARET is parallel to the deep gratitude they feel for being part of its history.
